Increasing Library Service Capacity

What goes on behind the scenes makes it possible for the library to function better, more accurately and efficiently. The Foundation provides the “if only” items that make a difference between performing a job … and performing it better.

  • Music and Recreation Division: purchased additional networked computers
  • Washingtoniana Division: Purchased a research-dedicated computer with CD-burner
  • Audio/Visual Division: Created a digital media processing resource center to catalog, coordinate, and manage electronic audio/visual material
  • Supported key internal events: Staff Development Day, Volunteer Recognition event, Annual Report
