Fringe: Music in the Library


Twice a month Capital Fringe curates free live music at the DC Public Library through a sponsorship from the DC Public Library Foundation.  Fringe: Music in the Library consists of one monthly performance at the MLK Library, and one monthly show at a neighborhood library. 2015 included performances by Chain and the Gang, Ethiopian Jazz Quartet with Araya Woldemichael, George Smallwood, Anna Mwalagho, Sunny Time, Luke Steward, and Three Man Soul Machine.
The 2016 FringeMusic in the Library shows will include Tele Blues with Anthony Pirog, Mind Over Matter Music Over Mind, Herman Burney and Reginald Cyntje, Rogue Collective, Meche Korrect, Puff Pieces, Donvonte McCoy, Domingues and Kane, Moor Mother Goddess and more.
