A Creative DC x DCPLF Creative Co-Working Days

The DC Public Library Foundation has partnered with A Creative DC —  a project celebrating and showcasing all aspects of a creative lifestyle in Washington, D.C. via social media and events —  to co-host monthly creative co-working and inspiration days at the MLK Library for local artists. In order to provide inspiration and resources for those in attendance, DCPL librarians pull titles specific to each artist’s areas of interest and current projects. In the afternoon, participants have the opportunity to tour the Labs @ DCPL and learn more about programs and services offered at the library. The partnership demonstrates how the DC Public Library can support the arts by providing local artists with work space and free creative resources.
